Over the last few years retail has changed considerably because of social media. But while consumers are more connected than ever, when it comes to products and clothing they’re looking for limited edition pieces that won’t be worn by the majority.
A lot of leading stores have needed to adjust by closing down their stores and opening smaller establishments with limited amounts of stock. The consumers who shop here are not simply looking to buy products, but they also want the lifestyle that comes with these products. For this reason many brands are incorporating culturally relevant concepts into their products and stores.
From the owners of the popular café Warm & Glad, comes The Jungle. Their concept store makes full use of available space by combining a café, florist and shop – where you can buy a wide range of goods including books, vinyl records, furniture and most importantly fashion.
The Jungle opened last year and is a space for the modern day, culture-orientated consumer, who is looking for limited edition pieces. I headed into The Jungle and this is what I found:
