Twenty-six year old Luthando Shosha, known on and off stage as LootLove, is a Port Elizabeth-bred, Johannesburg-based TV presenter. LootLove was propelled to success after winning SABC’s Live Amp talent search in 2011, and has been a presenter on the country’s biggest music show since then.
With many collaborative projects under her belt, such as brand ambassadorships for Rotary, Flying Fish and Vodacom Deezer, and more exciting projects on the way, LootLove is definitely one to watch this year.
We envision the ideal Threaded Woman as a dynamic go-getter who just so happens to do it with style, and LootLove certainly fits the bill. With her always on-trend sports luxe aesthetic and eye for chic menswear-inspired silhouettes, we figure she might be somewhat of an authority on what works for Threaded Men.
In her interview, we addressed the dos and don’ts of male grooming, and she shared her thoughts and gave advice to Threaded Men on how to look, smell and feel good. Fellas, take notes.
The ideal Threaded Man, to me, is mature. He is romantic, he makes me laugh, and he isn’t afraid to be cheesy and be himself. He is open and honest.
He also dresses well and has great street style. And he is tall. He has to be tall!
I appreciate a little facial stubble but keep it trimmed.
I don’t have a celeb crush… but if he is tall, dark and well styled, I’m there with my love eyes. Haha!
The first thing I look at when I meet a man are his hands. Are his nails cut? And his hair? Is it neat? Then how he smells… oh, and his smile. Lol.
My favourite male scents are Noir by Tom Ford and 1 Million by Paco Rabanne.
Advice for Threaded Men? Make her laugh! It always makes her more comfortable and warmer towards you. It certainly does something.
